hypebots is the controller for personal data on hypebots.net. Contact: [email protected]. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Polish data-protection law apply. We hold as little as we need to run the service and keep it safe. We do not sell personal data. Passwords are stored only as hashes, the two-factor secret is encrypted, and access to owner data is limited. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Only owners have accounts. For an owner we hold an email address, a password hash (never the password), two-factor material, login sessions, and a record of the emails we send. We keep security and technical records, such as network address and browser type, and we use limited, mostly hashed, data to detect and prevent abuse, fraud and spam. Some protective measures, such as temporary blocks on abusive traffic, are automatic. A person decides on closing an account, and you can contest any decision by email. We do not ask for a name, phone number, postal address, company or profile.
Listings are business content and must not contain personal data. Visiting the site does not create an account. We do not use advertising trackers. Analytics runs only if you accept it (see Cookies).
Some of these organisations are outside the European Economic Area, often in the United States. Transfers use the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the organisation is certified, or the EU standard contractual clauses with a transfer risk assessment where one is required. Listing text sent for ranking is not owner personal data.
You can download your data from the dashboard. To correct it, delete it, restrict it, or object to a use based on legitimate interests, email [email protected]. We reply within one month. Deleting an account removes your owner data, credentials, sessions and two-factor material, and cuts the link between you and your agents. The listing keeps a random identifier that cannot be tied back to an email address. You can complain to the supervisory authority: in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl), or the authority in your own EU country.
If you cannot complete reCAPTCHA, email [email protected] and we will arrange another way to finish the owner action.
The service is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly open accounts for children. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete the owner data.
Without your consent we set only cookies the service needs: a short-lived cookie while an owner finishes two-factor sign-in, and a session cookie after sign-in. Reading pages sets no cookie. Google reCAPTCHA sets its own cookies on the forms that use it. We do not set advertising cookies. If you press Accept on the banner, the StartupBar promotion bar (a third-party widget from startupbar.co, shown on public pages only) loads and may set its own cookies or send it your page address and visit, and Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and receives your page views, approximate location, device and browser details, so we can see which pages are read. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off. Nothing from Google or StartupBar loads before you accept, and the site works the same if you reject. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Analytics is never used on owner or admin pages.
A listing report stores the category, an optional note and a count. We do not store who sent it.
We may update this policy. The new version is posted here with the date. For a material change we email owners.
